Camden, SC : A two-car collision on Tuesday, August 8, 2017

A two-car collision that occurred about 3 p.m. August 5 claimed the life of a Camden man.

Kershaw County Coroner David West said Ernest Lee Griggs, 83, of Camden, was traveling south, alone, toward Camden on Flat Rock Road when his vehicle hit another vehicle head on.

Two people in that vehicle, a woman and a child, were injured and transported to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The accident is being investigated by the S.C. Highway Patrol.
