Kailua, HI : SUV flipped after collision in Kailua on Friday morning, April 8, 2016

An SUV was flipped onto its side, Friday morning after a collision with a pick-up truck in Kailua.

Crews arrived on the scene of North Kainalu and Mookua Street at about 7:40 a.m. to find the driver of the SUV trapped in his car because the door was jammed.

Firefighters then extricated the SUV driver who was then treated and transported to a nearby hospital.

The driver of the pick-up truck was able to leave his vehicle on his own and refused medical treatment.
