Mcdonough, GA : 8 people injured in wrong-way crash involving several cars near Hudson Bridge Road on Tuesday morning, June 23, 2015

Authorities say a crash that injured eight people on Interstate 75 south of Atlanta closed all of the northbound lanes for a time near the start of Tuesday morning's rush hour.

Police say a driver was heading south in the north-bound lanes near Hudson Bridge Road shortly after 2 a.m.

Henry County police say one of the eight people hurt was in critical condition Tuesday morning.

All lanes reopened shortly before 6:30 a.m., but heavy delays remained.
