Indiana County, PA ; 2 Latrobe residents hurt in Indiana County crash on Route 22 on Sunday, 11th November 2018

Two Westmoreland County residents were taken to a Pittsburgh hospital for injuries sustained in a Sunday collision on Route 22 in Indiana County, according to state police.

The 2:30 p.m. crash in Burrell Township happened when a tractor-trailer was disabled in the left center turning lane of eastbound traffic near Corporate Campus Drive. Wayne E. Saxman, 67, of Latrobe, lost control of his Ford Crown Victoria, crossed over the median and hit a westbound Volkswagen CC head-on, police said.
