Oxnard ,CA : Four People injure in in a head-on traffic collision at Victoria Avenue south of Gonzales Road On Tuesday night,March 24th 2015

Four people were injured in a head-on traffic collision Tuesday night in Oxnard, officials said.

The crash was reported about 9:05 p.m. at Victoria Avenue south of Gonzales Road.

A 56-year-old man from Oxnard was critically injured, and a 52-year-old woman and a 62-year-old woman suffered moderate injuries. They were taken to Ventura County Medical Center, said Battalion Chief Gary Sugich. The women, both from Oxnard, were in one car – the 62-year-old was the driver. It was later reported that the female driver sustained several injuries including two broken legs and was listed in serious condition. Her passenger, who was in stable condition, sustained lacerations to her right leg and injuries to her back and neck, according to authorities. The male driver underwent emergency surgery for extensive injuries, authorities said.
