Conway, SC : One man killed in a car crash Horry County on Friday afternoon September 25 2015.

A North Myrtle Beach man was killed in a car crash Friday afternoon on S.C. 22 after he was thrown from his car, authorities said.Thomas Kelley, 71, died at the crash scene after experiencing massive trauma, Darris Fowler, deputy coroner with Horry County, said.The crash happened about 5:35 p.m. on S.C. 22, about one mile from the S.C. 31 ramp, according to Cpl. Bob Beres with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.Beres said the driver was traveling east on S.C. 22 in a 2010 Infinity when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, hit some trees, and the driver was ejected from the vehicle.
Beres said no other vehicles were involved in the crash, and that it remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
