Kingston, TN : One person dead, and five others injured, after a two truck crash on Highway 70 in Kingston on Saturday, February 14, 2015
One person has died and five others were injured following a car accident in Roane County Saturday.
Officials say the accident happened on Highway 70 in Kingston around 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says that 43-year-old Robin Ledbetter of Harriman was traveling west on Highway 70 when her SUV crossed the center line hitting a truck driven by 47-year-old Terrance Clark, killing Clark.
Traveling with Clark was Tabatha Clark and Leaf Clark of Harriman. Both were injured and not were wearing their seat belts.
Traveling with Ledbetter was Daniel Ledbetter and 9-year-old Alexis Robarge of Harriman.
THP says that Ledbetter had drugs in her system at the time of the accident and it is unknown if alcohol played a factor.
Officials say that charges are pending.
