One person was taken to a hospital Tuesday after a crash in Jackson County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 12:30 p.m. at US-75 highway and Banner Road, on the south side of Holton.

The patrol said a 1999 Dodge Durango SUV was stopped at a stop light when it was rear-ended by a 2005 Ford Escape SUV.

The Ford’s driver, Nancy J. Weber, 63, of Holton, was injured and taken to Holton Community Hospital for treatment. The patrol said she was wearing seat belt.

The Durango’s driver, LeRoy C. Prosser, 52, of Sioux City, Iowa, wasn’t injured. He was wearing a seat belt.
