Two men were injured in a head-on crash late Friday night, according to local firefighters.
Fire Department Capt. Mike Chabot said rescue workers responded to the intersection of Route 120 and Hickory Road at 9:52 p.m..
He said the heavy rains had subsided to a drizzle at the time of accident between a Honda Accord and a Cadillac Escalade.
The drivers, who were the only occupants of the vehicles, were transported to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Chabot also said that tools were not needed to free the drivers from their vehicles.
