Sarasota County, FL : Swampscott's Anthony Benevento dies in car crash in Florida on Sunday, April 24, 2016

Swampscott's Anthony Benevento, the founder of Benevento Insurance Agency, was killed Sunday in a car crash in Florida, according to reports.

Benevento was reportedly driving on a highway and was unable to negotiate a curve, As result, he went off the highway, reports said.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the accident took place at around 11:47 p.m. in Sarasota County. Benevento was 68 years-old.
