A Granville man was jailed Saturday afternoon for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs when he hit four parked cars along Ridge Road, police said.
Gary J. Parker, 47, was arrested shortly after the 1:59 p.m. crash south of Hicks Road, near the sharp curve known as "Dead Man's Curve," according to State Police. No one was hurt.
Police said he was headed north when he went off the road and hit cars that were parked along the road for a garage sale. Troopers determined he was impaired by unspecified drugs, and a blood sample was taken for testing.
