Asbury teen dies in fatal accident near Boaz, Alabama

A teenager dies after a fatal wreck in Marshall County.Officials said 13-year-old Austin Gentry, from Asbury was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Boaz around 7:30 p.m. Friday.Police said the crash happened on highway 431 near Marshall Medical South.

Officials said apparently the driver of the other vehicle dropped his cell phone. When he attempted to reach for it he went over the median and struck the vehicle occupied by Gentry and his driver.Both drivers were taken to the hospital and released.
