Osceola County, FL : 1 killed, 1 seriously injured in Osceola County rear-end crash with semi on I-4 on Tuesday, 15th August 2023

A woman was killed and a man was seriously injured early Wednesday in a rear-end crash with a semitruck on Interstate 4 in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened near World Drive around 12:50 a.m.

According to a crash report, a Kia Forte was stopped behind a semitruck in the center westbound lane when a Dodge pickup truck being driven by a 33-year-old Champions Gate man failed to stop and rear-ended the Kia.

The Kia then hit the back of the semitruck, the report states.
