Nashville, TN : Goodlettsville woman dead after being hit by a dump truck on Thursday, December 3, 2015

A Goodlettsville woman is dead after being hit by a dump truck.

The collision happened around 5 p.m. Thursday as Diane Glass was walking along the 1300 block of Dickerson Pike.

Police said 53-year-old Glass was not in the crosswalk. She died at the scene.

A friend told officers Glass had been drinking just before the crash.

Toxicology testing is underway to determine if alcohol played a factor in the crash.

The truck driver, 30-year-old Jonathan Gary, is not facing any charges.
