HAMMANSBURG, OH : 2 teens hurt in Wood County crash on Sunday, 23rd December 2018
Two teenagers were taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle accident Sunday in rural Wood County, the sheriff’s office reported.
According to the sheriff’s office, Janet Holloway, 72, of Cygnet, turned east from a driveway in the 15000 block of Hammansburg Road at 12:05 p.m. when her 2015 Jeep Cherokee was struck by a 2007 Ford Fusion driven by Brandyn Day, 18, of Risingsun, which had drifted into the wrong lane.
Day and a passenger in his car, Samarah Garner, 17, of Deshler, were both taken to Wood County Hospital with incapacitating injuries, the sheriff’s office reported.
Day was cited for a lanes of travel violation, according to the sheriff’s office.
