MIDDLETOWN, OH : 2 hurt in three-car crash near Simmons Farm on West Main Road on Sunday, 31st March 2019

Two people were transported to Newport Hospital after a three-car crash near Simmons Farm on West Main Road Sunday afternoon.

A Middletown Fire Department dispatcher said Monday he didn’t believe the injuries were serious and the transport of the people to the hospital was out of an abundance of caution. The dispatcher did not have information on the people involved or the types of cars that were involved in the crash.

The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. The area saw rain and some light fog during the afternoon.

Damage was limited to the vehicles, the dispatcher said.

The Middletown Fire Department dispatched a rescue vehicle and a fire engine to the scene. The Portsmouth Fire Department also responded.
