Clark County, WI : 16-year-old boy killed in Clark County crash Sunday on July 14, 2014
A 16-year-old boy was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Clark County, the sheriff's office said Monday.
Marvin W. High was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, reported shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Twenty Six Road and Meridian Ave. in the Town of Sherman, according to a sheriff's office news release.
According to the release, a truck driven by High was westbound on Twenty Six Road when it was struck by a vehicle headed south on Meridian driven by a 21-year-old woman who ran a stop sign.
The truck entered a ditch, as did the vehicle driven by the woman, who was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and speed is not believed to have been a factor in the crash, which remained under investigation Monday, according to the release.
