A man in his 20s died early Wednesday after a police chase and rollover crash. The crash happened around 1:30 a.m., at 45th and Pittman. Investigators said the driver lost control before the car flipped. Independence police had been chasing after the car before the crash. The man died at the hospital. Crews also extricated a woman from the car. They say she is in her 30s and is expected to survive. Crews had to use a crane to remove the car from the ravine.
