Lubbock police say a 2-year-old girl has been run over and killed by an SUV being driven by a 14-year-old girl. Police say Mikaly Leyva was crossing a Lubbock street Saturday afternoon when she was hit. She died later at a hospital. Police report the driver of the SUV also had passengers in her vehicle — two 8-year-old boys. No charges have been filed yet and authorities say the case remains under investigation.
