Jefferson County ,TN ; : All I-40 westbound closed in Jefferson Co. after fatal crash on Wednesday, May 13th 2015

All lanes were reopened Thursday morning, after a fatal crash left the road closed for hours Wednesday.

A report released by the Tennessee Highway Patrol identifies the man killed in a crash on I-40 in Jefferson County late Wednesday night.

THP reports Alberto Lostal, 53, was driving a tractor-trailer westbound on I-40 and failed to notice traffic had stopped. The report indicates Lostal slammed into the back of another semi truck, pushing it into the back of the truck that was stopped in front of it. The crash killed Lostal, and injured the other two truck drivers involved.

No word yet on their conditions.
