Stewartville, MN : One hurt in two-vehicle crash near Stewartville on Tuesday morning, November 15, 2016

A Chatfield man was injured in a broadside crash Tuesday morning east of Stewartville.

Craig A. Schultz, 51, was driving west on Minnesota Highway 30 when the truck he was driving collided with a pickup driven by Jared W. Culbertson, 37, at the intersection with Olmsted County Road 20, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Culbertson, of Lanesboro, was southbound at the time, the report says.

Both men had their seat belts fastened; Schultz was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys Campus. He was listed in good condition Tuesday afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Culbertson sustained no apparent injury.

Also responding to the scene were personnel from the Stewartville Fire Department and the Olmsted County Sheriffs Office, as well as Gold Cross Ambulance.

The crash was reported at 6:32 a.m.
