Fountain Inn,SC : 72-year-old woman dies after being struck by wrong-way driver on I-385 on August, Friday 1st 2017

Troopers with the SC Highway Patrol said a 72-year-old woman died early Friday morning after her vehicle was struck by a wrong-way driver on I-385 North in the Fountain Inn area.
Troopers said the crash occurred shortly after 4 a.m. near mile marker 24.
All northbound lanes were blocked due to the crash but the lanes reopened shortly after 8 a.m.
Troopers said the victim was heading north and her Nissan Sentra was struck by a 19-year-old Piedmont woman who was heading south in the northbound lane in a Nissan SUV.
The victim was entrapped in the vehicle and died at the scene.
The coroner identified the victim as Geraldine Overstreet Bailey of Browning Avenue in Joanna. The cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma.
The 19-year-old was unhurt.
Troopers said the MAIT team was called in to reconstruct the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
