GRANGER, IN : A 24-year-old man dies in crash on Ash Road in Granger on Wednesday, 11th September 2024

Police have identified the 24-year-old man who was killed in a crash early this morning in Granger as Charles Pereira of Mishawaka.

St. Joseph County police were called just before 4 a.m. to the crash on Ash Road just north of Anderson Road in northeast Harris Township.

When officers arrived, they found one vehicle that had left the road and crashed into a wooded area. No other passengers or vehicles were involved.

The crash remains under investigation, but police believe speed played a role in it.
