CRANSTON, RI : Crews respond to rollover crash in Cranston on Monday, 8th May 2023

Police responded to a rollover crash in Cranston early Monday morning.

A 12 News crew on scene observed a grey sedan flipped on its side on Laten Knight Road just before 3:15 a.m.

Cranston Police Chief Michael Winquist told 12 News the car veered off the road and hit a tree. The car also hit a mailbox.

The driver did not appear to be under the influence of any substances, according to Winquist. They were cited with operating without an insurance and laned roadway.
