A Woodburn man died Thursday afternoon at Parkview Regional Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash at Indiana 101 and Dawkins Road in eastern Allen County, the county coroner's office said today. Paul E. Woods, 76, was the driver of one of the vehicles in the crash, the coroner's office said in a statement. It said Woods died accidentally from blunt force trauma, and is the 24th traffic fatality of the year in Fort Wayne and Allen County. Two others were injured and taken to local hospitals. Police have said they were called about noon to a crash involving a minivan and a car. The minivan was traveling north on Indiana 101 and the car was traveling west on Dawkins Road when one of the drivers ran a stop sign, they have said. Woods was wearing a seat belt, and investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, the coroner's office said.
