West Hartford, CT : Man Dies in I-84 Crash in West Hartford on Tuesday morning, August 12, 2014

State police say one person has died in an early morning accident that shut down Interstate 84 eastbound in West Hartford just before rush hour. Troopers say a car went off the highway and crashed shortly after 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities are withholding the victim's name pending positive identification and notification of relatives. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
