GOSHEN, NY : Goshen crash injures 3, takes out garage door on Monday, 10th June 2019
A driver with a cancelled driver’s license caused a crash that injured himself, another driver and a passenger Monday morning, when he failed to stop at a stop sign, according to the Goshen Police Department.
Tomas Morales Camilo, 38, of Goshen was driving a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee north on Riverside Boulevard, approaching West Lincoln Avenue around 4:50 a.m.
A 52-year-old woman was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado east on Lincoln Avenue and struck the Jeep when Camilo failed to yield.
The Chevrolet veered northeast and onto a property in the 100 block of North Riverside Boulevard, striking a third vehicle parked in the driveway.
The third vehicle was pushed into the home, breaking the garage door. Police were unable to determine if the home suffered structural damage.
The driver of the Chevrolet sustained abrasions on her arms and complained of pain to her face and lower arms. A 62-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Chevrolet also sustained injuries due to airbag deployment, complaining of a possible dislocated or broken thumb on her right hand.
Camilo complained of neck and back pain. He was cited for disregarding a stop sign and driving without a valid license.
