A person was killed after being struck by a Jeep Cherokee Sunday morning on U.S. 29.
Greensboro police did not immediately identify the victim.
Police said a 25-year-old Lexington man was driving north on the highway shortly after 10 a.m. when he hit the victim at East Market Street.
No charges have been filed.
