Portland, OR : Man hurt in hit-and-run after phones were stolen in Southeast Portland on Friday afternoon, September 26, 2014

A man was unloading cellphones from his car when a suspect robbed him of his phones and hit the victim with his car in Southeast Portland this afternoon. The suspect fled the scene after hitting a man with a car. Around 3:30 pm. Portland Police arrived on scene to find a man lying on the ground on the block of Southeast Yamhill St. in the Centennial neighborhood. Police and medical personnel treated the victim who was taken to a Portland hospital with minor injuries. Due to a language barrier, police are having a hard time getting any more information on the suspect at this time. The vehicle has been described as a dark blue or gray smaller SUV driven by a white male. Police will continue their investigation and will send out more information when it becomes available.
