MARICOPA, AZ : Motorcycle crashes on the Honeycutt bridge east of White and Parker Road on Saturday, 14th March, 2020

One person was hospitalized Saturday after a motorcycle went down on the Honeycutt bridge east of White and Parker Road.

Both the Maricopa Police Department and Pinal County Sheriff's Office were on scene investigating. According to MPD Lieutenant Stephen Judd, alcohol appears to have been a factor in the crash. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.Both directions of Honeycutt Road were closed following the crash. Westbound lanes were re-opened within an hour.

The driver of the motorcycle did not have a helmet on, but Judd said the driver appears to have non-life-threatening injuries.
