Folsom, LA : 74-year-old Sandra Buras died after a fatal crash on Louisiana Highway 25 in St. Tammany Parish on Sunday afternoon, Nov 15, 2015

State police are investigating a fatal crash on Louisiana Highway 25 near Folsom in St. Tammany Parish.

Trooper Dustin Dwight says an SUV driven by 74-year-old Sandra Buras of Metairie crashed into the rear of a pickup driven by 58-year-old Mable Chaney of Franklinton Sunday afternoon.

Dwight says after impact the SUV left the roadway and crash into an embankment.

Buras was taken to St Tammany Parish Hospital where she later died.

Troopers say Chaney was not injured.
