Houston Tx : Man was killed after an SUV into a concrete culvert in northeast Harris County early Sunday May 11th 2014.

A man was killed after an SUV into a concrete culvert in northeast Harris County early Sunday. It happened around 5am in the 7600 block of East Mount Houston. Harris County Sheriff's deputies say Rosario Dorado was driving a blue Chevrolet Tahoe with a passenger identified as Ventura Ovalle. While traveling westbound, deputies say Dorado lost control of her vehicle and crossed over the eastbound lane.

Crossing the eastbound lane, Dorado left the roadway and entered the south side ditch. Entering the ditch, Dorad's vehicle struck a concrete culvert. Officials say Ovalle was in the front passenger's seat and he sustained life threatening injuries during the crash. He died at the scene.

Authorities say Dorado exhibited signs of impairment due to alcohol. She was later reportedly found to be intoxicated and she was arrested.
