Coroner ID's motocyclist killed in Codorus Twp. crash in Pennsylvania

A man died and a woman was severely injured Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Codorus Township.Kenneth Ray Powell, 57, of School Street in Glen Rock, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the York County Coroner's Office. He was not wearing a helmet and died of multiple injuries, the coroner's office said.
The crash happened about 3 p.m. when the motorcycle Powell was riding north on Jefferson Road near the Shaffers Church Road intersection left the road and struck a guard rail, state police said.
Police said passenger Melissa K. Powell, 47, of Glen Rock was severely injured in the crash and was airlifted to York Hospital.
State police are investigating the crash.
