EAST HARTFORD, CT : 1 killed in deadly crash on Route 2 in East Hartford on Wednesday, 6th December 2023

A 58-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Route 2 on Wednesday night.

State police identified the victim as Curtis Waters of Hartford.

Troopers said they responded to the crash on the eastbound side of the highway around 9:40 p.m.

When they arrived, they said they found the driver of a Chevy Equinox veered it off the road and collided with a tree.
