Fresno, CA : Motorcyclist struck by 3 vehicles after collision on February, Saturday 17th 2018

A motorcyclist is dead after he crashed then was struck by three vehicles Saturday night on Highway 198 just outside Lemoore Naval Air Station.

The California Highway Patrol reported that David Workman, 43, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu west on Highway 198 just east of Avenal Cutoff Road just after 6 p.m. when he ran into the back of a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike landing on the highway.

The motorcyclist was then struck by three other vehicles traveling west on Highway 198 and suffered fatal injuries. The driver of one of the vehicles, a 1998 Saturn, swerved in an attempt to avoid the motorcyclist but lost control of his car and drove off the highway where he overturned.

The driver of the Saturn was taken to Adventist Medical Center in Hanford where he was treated for moderate injuries.
