A three-car crash on Tucson's west side sent a man to the hospital

A three-car crash on Tucson's west side sent a man to the hospital Monday night, Northwest Fire Department officials confirmed.

Capt. Adam Goldberg said it started as a two-car crash near Wetmore and Flowing Wells. One of the people involved in a fender bender got out of his car to inspect the damage when a third car ran into the other two vehicles and the man, officials said.

He was taken to a local hospital where Goldberg said he is in stable condition.
