Sahuarita , AZ : Driver minorly injured in two-vehicle collision after wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle on Saturday , March 7th 2015

A crash closed Interstate 19 southbound in Sahuarita a little after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, and it reopened about 90 minutes later.

The highway was closed at Duval Mine Road in Sahuarita. Motorists had to exit at Duval Mine Road and return to the interstate by following a three-mile alternate route.

The cause for the closure was a two-vehicle collision in which a wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. There were minor injuries.

Northbound lanes of I-19 remained open.
