Nashville,TN : 2 detained after SUV nearly crashes into South Nashville home on may, Monday 29th 2017

A South Nashville resident received a shocking wake-up call early Monday morning when an SUV crashed into their front yard.

Authorities responded to the incident on Packard and Fairlane Drive, which is just off Nolensville Pike, around 4 a.m.

Police say the SUV veered off the roadway and hit a tree, narrowly missing the home.

The homeowner says he saw two people crawl out of the SUV after the accident.

Those suspects have since been detained by police, and at least one was taken to the hospital.

Police have not said if they will face charges.
