COFFEE COUNTY, TN : Man killed in ultralight crash in Coffee County on Sunday, 16th October 2016

A man was killed when his ultralight aircraft crashed in Hillsboro, Tennessee.

It happened Sunday at 4:47 p.m. in the 2500 block of Prairie Plains Road.

The Coffee County sheriff told News 2 that one man was on board a Sky Cycle ultralight when it went down.

His name is not being released until the next of kin is notified.

It was not immediately clear what led to the accident, but the Coffee County Sheriff Department is working with the Federal Aviation Administration to investigate the crash.
