Danbury, CT : Danbury Road crash sends Waterbury man, two children to hospital on Monday, 26th November 2018

A two-car crash on Danbury Road sent a Waterbury man and his two kids to Danbury Hospital around 4:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26.

Police said a 42-year-old Danbury man was driving northbound on the state highway when he made a left hand turn into a business located at 703 Danbury Road.

According to a report, the driver’s vehicle struck a vehicle that was traveling in the southbound lane on Danbury Road.

Police said the southbound vehicle, which was driven by a 23-year-old Waterbury man, received significant damage in the crash. The vehicle’s three occupants, including its driver, received medical attention and were transported to the hospital. The two passengers were listed as children ages two and four from Waterbury.

The Danbury man was charged with failure to grant the right of way. The Waterbury man was charged with driving without insurance.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
