Two people are hospitalized with serious injuries after motorcycle crash Monday night in Davenport.
About 10:15 p.m. police were dispatched to an accident that involved a car and a motorcycle near the intersection of 32nd and Harrison streets.
Police say a vehicle, described as a 2015 Red Dodge Charger, was traveling westbound on 32nd Street when it failed to yield at a stop sign at Harrison Street and cut in front of a southbound motorcycle. The vehicle then fled the scene.
The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were transported to Genesis East Campus with serious injuries. The driver was later airlifted to University Hospitals in Iowa City.
The suspect vehicle has damage to the passenger side rear area, police said in a news release.
