Sunbury,PA : Three hurt in Snyder County crash on August, Friday 11th 2017
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash late Friday night in Adams Township, Snyder County, state police at Selinsgrove reported on Sunday.
Police said Cody Hackenburg, 21, of Mifflinburg, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier west on Troxelville Road, near Lake Road, at 11 p.m. when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the car and it spun into the path of an eastbound 2006 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Debbie Sprenkle, 48, of Middleburg. The front of Sprenkle’s vehicle struck the passenger side of Hackeburg’s car, police said.
Police said both drivers and Sprenkle’s passenger, Brian Sprenkle, 51, also of Middleburg, suffered serious injuries and were transported by ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. A Geisinger nursing supervisor said on Sunday night that Hackenburg and Debbie Sprenkle were discharged on Sunday. She did not have a record of Brian Sprenkle undergoing treatment.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
