JACKSON, MO : A car crash in Jackson has traffic backed up through several stop lights on Wednesday, 13th November 2024

The road between Cape and Jackson back open after a big wreck during rush hour.

You called to let us know about the crash around five o clock during rainy rush hour traffic.

Just before six o clock there was traffic backed up through several stop lights on East Jackson Boulevard due to a crash.

Right off Rhodes Gas Station in Jackson there were several police cars blocking off sections of the highway. Police directed traffic slowly on scene. An ambulance and Jackson Fire Department personnel were also on scene with orange cones directing traffic.

A tow truck came to the scene as there was quite a bit of damage to a vehicle that was pushed on the side of the highway and then taken away by a tow truck.
