Freedom, NH : One person was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Route 153 on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016

One person was killed in a hit-and-run crash late Wednesday night along Route 153 in Freedom.
Police said a person driving a Chevrolet pickup truck on the southbound side of the highway crossed the center line and slammed into another vehicle head-on.

The driver was found dead when officers arrived at the scene around 11 p.m. near Eaton Road.

The pickup truck fled the scene, police said. They are searching for the driver.

Police did not release victim's identity.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact police.
