MELROSE, MA : 64-year-old man dies in ATV crash in Melrose on Friday, 12th February 2021

A 64-year-old man has died of injuries sustained in a late night all-terrain vehicle crash in Melrose, authorities say.

Melrose police officers and firefighters responded to the intersection of Upham Street and Wildwood Road for a report of a single-vehicle crash with serious injuries at about 11 p.m. Thursday, according to a statement Friday from police Chief Michael Lyle and Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.

The victim was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital where he died from his injuries, authorities said.
