WESTPORT, MA : 3 killed in early-morning crash on I-195 in Westport on Wednesday, 28th September 2016
Three people were killed Wednesday morning when a car crossed into oncoming traffic on I-195 in Westport and slammed head-on into another vehicle.
The crash occurred around 8:12 a.m. between exits 10 and 11.

State police said a livery vehicle was headed west before it crossed the median and hit a BMW traveling east head-on.
Two people in the livery vehicle were killed, as well as someone in the BMW, who was identified as a 23-year-old New Bedford woman.
Two other passengers in the BMW, a 25-year-old Fall River man and a toddler from New Bedford, survived the crash but were taken to a hospital with injuries.
A third person in the livery vehicle was also taken to a hospital.
The livery vehicle rolled over after the initial impact with the BMW. After the crash, another vehicle headed east crashed into the BMW and caught fire. The driver, a 27-year-old Vermont man, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Two other eastbound vehicles had minor damage after the impacts from the secondary impacts.
The victim's identities and genders have not been released.
The crash remains under investigation, and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police.
