St. Johns county , FL : 72 - Years old woman was killed after crashed into a pond and water started filling her car on Sunday night , January 18th 2015

the Salt Creek Community of Sawgrass late Sunday night.

“I did hear about that tragic accident. Over the night an elderly woman flipped her car,” said resident Greg Hickson.

Deputies say a 72-year-old woman went into a pond and water started filling her car.

The car was submerged and the wrecker had a hard time getting it out of the water.

The cord from a tow truck to the woman’s car snapped as crews were pulling it out.
