Williston, ND : 2 killed in crash on U.S. Highway 2 about 8 miles west of Williston on Sunday 23rd September 2018

Two people died in an early-morning crash involving three vehicles Sunday near Williston, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.

The crash occurred at 2:03 a.m. on U.S. Highway 2 about 8 miles west of Williston. The patrol said a 2014 Dodge Ram was westbound on the highway when it crossed over into the eastbound lanes of the highway. A GMC was eastbound with a Kenworth following it.

The patrol said the GMC moved left in an attempt to avoid a head-on collision with the Dodge and the Dodge struck the passenger front corner with the front end. The Kenworth then struck the Dodge with the front end.

The drive of the Dodge, a 24-year-old man, of Donna, Texas, and the 45-year-old passenger of the GMC, Rosa Aguayo, San Bernardino, Calif., died at the scene, the patrol said.
