Ashwaubenon, WI : Woman hurt when car crashes into store on Friday, March 10, 2017

A 24-year-old woman was injured when a woman crashed her vehicle into a clothing store.

The driver of the vehicle, a 78-year-old woman from De Pere, crashed through the front of Plato's Closet, 2605 S. Oneida St., just before noon Friday, according to an Ashwaubenon Public Safety news release.

Authorities said the vehicle accelerated, crashing through a wall and into the store, when the driver's foot got caught between the pedals.

The 24-year-old woman was a customer of the store. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
