Lincoln, NE : Woman dead in a one-vehicle rollover crash on Sunday night August 17th 2014

Authorities have released the name of a woman killed in a one-vehicle rollover crash in Lincoln. Lincoln police say 21-year-old Shanna R. Rurup was a passenger Sunday night in a car driven by 20-year-old Cameron Beattie. At some point the vehicle went off the road, hit a guardrail and rolled. Police spokeswoman Katie Flood tells the Lincoln Journal Star Rurup was not wearing a seat belt. Rurup died at the scene. Beattie was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
